Wine tastings at La Forge in the Vosges mountains

In Ferme La Forge you can choose from our large selection of several grapes of 10 different wineries. You can try different grapes like Pinot Gris or Riesling and/or taste just Rieslings but then from different producers.

Of course we will start your tasting with some general information on wine tasting and (Alsace) wines and our selection.

A tasting starts with a short introduction on wines and wine tasting. We will give you some tips and do’s and don’ts. We will continue with specific information on the Alsace region, like terroir, methods and also philosophy's.

We will hand out a tasting form. You will need this form during and after the tastings. We will discuss our findings. This is fun!

A good idea is to combine a tasting with a dinner afterwards. With matching wines of course. We often serve a choice of typical Alsation cuisine like Coq au Riesling, Choucroute garnie, Tarte flambé, Kugelkopf of Baeckofe.

Everything will be prepared fresh and then put in the oven while we enjoy our tasting. Immediateluy after the tasting you can start your dinner and choose the wines you like best.
